Hard Drive Speed

To determine a hard drive's health, we use HD Tune. With HD Tune, we're able to check the speed and look for irregularities.

What should performance look like?

You should see a smooth line mostly and it should curve down slightly the further right it is. Too many jumps indicates that either your computer is using your hard drive as you're trying to run the test or your hard drive is going bad.
