The mod Instructions are a bit technical

The Product Specification Value Mod is difficult for non-technical users to 1 install, 2 configure, 3 use. Here is my attempt to make the configure and use part of it simplified. This is a must have Mod, it makes it so editing large quantities of product specifications is simplified, however you cannot sort by the specifications that you assign with this mod.

Setup a Product Attribute Specification

Click edit by the attribute you want to use.
 

under options, add an option and name it Value

Configure the product using the "Value" field

Edit a product specs - choose the attribue that you added the Value option to.

Now that the attribute option says "Value", the store will use what is in the 'Value' textbox.
 

See below, instead of it saying 'Value', it pulled what I had in the 'Value' textbox.
